The new design had to increase functionality and usability of the original older style home by creating open shared spaces whilst still being respectful to the original detailing and character of the facades. To take advantage of the site's orientation, maximising opportunities for northern light, and to monopolise on water views. Two wings now 'burst' forth from the original box home closely respecting its heritage and origins.
