The renovation was set to be a rewarding challenge as the large two-storey red brick 'shoe box' lacked cohesion and interaction with its occupants and the environment; in general. With the addition of Decking to the Ground Level and Balconies front and back to the Upper Level the Residence began its transformation to becoming 'in-part' with its environment. The removal of some internal walls and the tweaking of others along with the relocation of some doorways and the total modernization of the all its' amenities gave the building back its' cohesion and workability. Large glazed areas as well as access to the Upper Level Balconies were incorporated to further the buildings transformation.
